Four things: straightness, an even taper from big toe outward, consistent spacing without overlap or crowding, and clean well-shaped nails. Nail condition is the heaviest lever here — chipped polish, uneven lengths and ragged edges cost more points than any structural trait, and they are fixable in twenty minutes.

Curled or clenched toes are the most common self-inflicted problem in submitted photos. People tense up for the camera without realising, which reads as poor alignment. Let your foot relax completely before you shoot.

The relationship between your big toe and second toe determines your foot type and much of how the front of your foot reads. A smooth descending taper is the most common and generally scores well. A longer second toe is entirely normal and shared by a large minority of people, but it is worth knowing about because it changes which shoes will hurt you.
