Content Policy

The following are never permitted under any circumstances, and there is no discretion or appeal on any of them.

The photo must show a human foot or feet as its main subject. It must be your own feet, or the feet of an adult who has explicitly consented to this specific use. It must be cropped so that no face, tattoo used as identification, document, screen, address, item of mail or other identifying detail is visible.

This is not only a rule we impose on you — it is in your own interest. Foot photos feel anonymous, which makes people careless about reflections in windows and screens, mail on a table, or a face in a mirror. Crop tightly.

Before any analysis happens, each upload is examined by two independent AI safety classifiers from different providers. They check specifically for indications of a minor, explicit sexual content, nudity beyond the feet, visible faces or identifying details, and whether a foot is actually the subject.

If either classifier flags any prohibited category, the upload is rejected. If neither classifier can produce a confident verdict, the upload is also rejected — the system deliberately fails closed rather than allowing an unclassified image through. Classifiers are instructed to err toward caution on the question of age, which means some legitimate adult uploads will occasionally be refused. That trade-off is intentional and will not be relaxed.

Sharing to the public gallery is opt-in and off by default. If you never tick the box, your photo is visible only to you.

If you do share, understand that the photo becomes visible to anyone on the internet, may appear in the gallery, vote queue and leaderboard, and can be saved or copied by others. You can withdraw it at any time, but withdrawal cannot recall copies that already exist. Do not share anything whose future circulation would be a problem for you.

Every public photo has a Report button. Use it for anything that looks like it involves a minor, a non-consenting person, explicit content, or a stolen image. Reports are reviewed and are the fastest way to get something removed.

Breaching this policy results in removal of the content and may result in permanent loss of access. Content that appears to involve a minor is removed, reported to the relevant authorities, and related records preserved as required by law.
